My sister is pregnant with number three. An August baby! We cannot wait. I wanted to make this little person something to celebrate them. I thought of a colourful pram/ stroller blanket. As my sister is not finding out the gender, the colours need to be appealing to both boys and girls. And not biased towards one or the other gender! I settled on a base of green with cream, blue, purple and grey. I agonised a bit over the inclusion of blue for a possible girl baby but went with it as the blue is more of an aqua....
I used an 8 ply machine-washable wool with a 4.5mm hook. I did little granny squares and used a join-as-you-go method for the squares. It went really quickly. The border is 4 rows of the green with a little colour detail in each corner. It was a lovely project.
Hope baby likes it! Linking in with the lovely Leonie x
