It's no secret that I am in love with Make cafe. I could have moved in when I saw the space on the weekend of the Christchurch bloggers conference. Seriously. Add to that the lovely and amazing Juliet was on hand to help with fabric choices and really, I was hooked. Juliet helped me choose some lovely fabrics that totally reflect my kiddies. Lions and pirates- totally awesome.
I wanted to make them pillowcases but had no idea how much fabric a pillowcase requires. A whole lot more than I purchased apparently. Luckily my stash came to the rescue with a yellow and a red plain cotton accent/ backing for each.
I love how these have turned out. I copied another pillowcase and it was sooo easy! The kids love them although Luka asked where the blanket (matching duvet cover) was....
