Happy Mothers Day to me. I love this day after hating it with a passion for so many years. And today I celebrate that I get to parent two amazing little people.
But today is so much more. There's a 19 year old girl down country who is also a Mommy. 4 1/2 years ago she chose me to to parent her boy. Today is also her day.

I love you to the moon and back. Happy Mothers day, my darling girl. I am so in awe of you. Not that you chose me, although I am eternally grateful for that. But that you chose life for Luka. You stood tall in the face of opposition, endless persuasion and judgement to give him life. Thank you for loving Grace too. You are such a special part of our family and mean so much to us.
