Well, hello. There's been sick-induced silence on the blog front this week. It takes a lot to bring a mother of small children down but this bug did. I even took off work one day and slept. Then there is nothing like feeling better after feeling rubbish. Driving along to the photography workshop today (I know!!) I felt so good.
My bit of crochet-love this week is a shawlette using Jodulbugs fabulous merino yarn in Tui (DK/ 8ply). I raved about it here. My neck is always cold so this is perfect- a neck snuggle blanket...
I used the Dory pattern which I got off Ravelry. The pattern was easy to follow, helped by the diagram which was included. The yarn was a dream to work with. I made the shawlette larger than the pattern said and I love how it turned out.
I have worn this almost every single day since I finished it. Gotta love that.
