Loving the little traditions we are making as a family. And taking it easy on myself this year and not trying to hand make it all to perfection. Actually the lesson I have embraced is that sometimes good enough is best enough.
I have wanted to do an advent calendar for a couple of years now. I would have loved to do one like Miriam's (shamelessly copying this next year) with meaning behind the little gifts but it was enough to get this up on the wall for this year. Likewise I will worry about the commercialism of this advent calendar, next year. And maybe not even then. I am trying to be nicer to me.
Anyway, I love it and the kids do too. Some twine, little backboard pegs and bags with a little something inside for each day. Done!
