alpaca toasty

This cosy little guy has been percolating for some time. I started this blanket here, then stopped as I ran out of yarn. I have been on the look out for bulky (super chunky) wool for some time at a cost that won't break my little bank. I finally found some alpaca/ wool blend at a great price, but (of course) there wasn't a whole lot of it.

So this little blanket is truly a lap blanket at the moment. He may grow some more in the future but possibly not given my morbid fear of too many clashing colours in one space!
