We moved this last weekend. It was crazy as all moves are but so good to be here. The house is much smaller than the palace but it feels like home. I don't think we are the mansion type at all.
Of course I missed my mother, she would have been re-cleaning the new house, unpacking the kitchen and making it a home. We were very short of help, just my sister and MJ's brothers but we managed. We are in!
It's good to move on from the palace. It's healthy and it's time to let my mother go. She spent some very happy months with us there but now it's time to start fresh. And that feels good!
Pockets of order are emerging from the chaos, starting with the children's bedrooms. They are already so happy here, I love it.
